There Is a Light at the End of the Tunnel
Video Transcribed: My name is Brian L. Jackson and I am a dad’s rights lawyer in Tulsa, Oklahoma with Dads.Law
I want to talk a little bit guys, about a positive story. I just recently tried a protective order on a pretty serious allegation of a kidnap that involved a custody dispute between grandmother and mother over a child, and over a visitational period with the grandmother. Well, the good news is that I was able to get the case dismissed. And not only that, but the court made a specific finding that the petition was frivolously filed and that there was no victim. My client is most likely going to get her attorney’s fees back, or at least part of it.
I like to tell these stories guys, because a lot of times when you’re going through this stuff, it looks like there’s no light at the end of the tunnel and you’re just going to continue to go through crap. And I will tell you, there is light at the end of the tunnel. If you’re facing a protective order, they can be beaten, sometimes pretty easily, sometimes not, but they can be beaten. And hang in there, keep fighting a good fight, guys.
